About Me

Hello I’m Kelly,

Spending my formative years on our stud farm I was lucky enough to have my own pony, Mrs Tiggywinkle and our St Bernard dog, Emma. Alongside we lived with cats, cows, ducks, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs which made me acutely aware how much love, care, and attention animals need throughout all their life stages.

Over the years I have been a dog walker for Hearing dogs for deaf people and the Cinnamon trust. Have carried out home checks for numerous animal charities, fundraised for local rescue centres including St Francis Animal Welfare where our Bailey and then Toby came from.

After moving to Titchfield Common I soon appreciated that being so close to the sea while also having the woods and fields close by made walking our dogs a lot of fun. In 2008 the decision was made to open our pet service, taking me back to my roots.

In 2013 I travelled to Serbia to join a likeminded group of volunteers to help at a shelter which contained 425 rescued dogs. You can’t come home from a trip like that and do nothing! My mission was to help find good homes for these poor lost souls. Since then, being an active administrator for Serbia’s forgotten paws taking on the role of organising and carrying out home checks, UK transport runs, and fostering dogs less fortunate than our own.

In 2014 we first joined the “Failed foster” club as we adopted our own Serbian special Oscar and again in 2021, we adopted Tedi who had been waiting for his better life at the shelter for 10 years.

As you can see dogs for us are a way of life, rather than just a business.
